How Reiki Could Bring In Significant Loss In Weight

When your aim is to lose weight, dieting might not always be as effective as you want it to be. In such cases, you will need to look for alternatives and this is where Reiki comes into picture. Reiki is a Japanese pseudoscience of healing which believes that the right and equal distribution of energy in the body can lead to harmony and good health.
1. Reiki your food
The idea is to look at the food you are eating and allow positive energy to fill you up. Whenever you sit down on your table to eat, it is important to steer clear of all kinds of negative energy as it will allow you to embrace the real benefits of the food.
2. Cherish your body
A lot of people detest their own body, just because they are overweight. This is a flawed strategy and is least likely to work. Self-loathing is not going to take you anywhere. So, even when your focus is upon losing weight, Reiki teaches you to love your inner soul and body. So, make a commitment to shed the extra pounds but do not let a feeling of hatred crop up. Positive energy helps you achieve your goals as it enhances smoother energy distribution.
3. Crystals are magical
Do you believe in crystal theory? There are a lot of crystals that are believed to be infused with positive energy. They can infuse the strength of inner mind and can help you clinch the goal of losing weight. Yellow crystals like citrine or even golden topaz are filled with energy. They can be used along with solar plexus chakra to give you extra will power and strength to carry out the exercises for shedding weight.
4. Make a commitment
Reiki strongly believes in the principles of committing and staying true to it. Write down your goal on a piece of paper and then infuse Reiki energy into it by actually believing that you can do it. Now, keep this paper with you most of the times and make sure to read it loud numerous times of the day. Direct the right amount of Reiki energy to solar plexus chakra, located at the base of the sternum.
5. Embrace positivity
Remember, Reiki thrives on positive energy. Losing weight should be your agenda but do not be stressed about the goal. Believe in Reiki and let your inner positivity spread through your body. Let the inner energy drive away negative emotions and stress and the results will begin to appear.
These are five pioneering ways by which you can use Reiki to your advantage and make the most out of it.

Is Shamanic Energy Healing For You?

What is healing energy? First and foremost, energy healing is not new. Nearly every ancient culture had some form of energy healing. A form of energy healing can be found in both Eastern and Western religions. Archeological evidence suggests such healing is at least 40,000 years old. Traditionally, energy healing meant the realignment of the body's physical energy to promote healing. Today, still relying upon the realignment of body energy, energy healing is viewed as an alternative approach to contemporary medical practices and is also viewed by many medical professionals as complementary.
All things are energy. This includes all plant and animal life forms. This energy is generated by the vibration of the molecular structure of these life forms. Quantum physics tells us that all things are in a constant state of movement. A wide number of things can cause a disruption of that movement resulting in illness, physical or mental. The healer's job is to realign the patient's energy so the body can heal itself.
There are several healing approaches currently available. Among these are the following:
• Reiki
• Qigong
• EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques and sometimes called Tapping)
• Biofield Energy
• Therapeutic Touch (TT)
• Spiritual Healing
• Faith Healing (Laying on of hands)
• Yoga
• Meditation
• ARCH (Ancient Rainbow Conscious Healing)
• Visualization
• Chakra Balancing
• Shamanic Healing
Much is being written about shamanism. Many people are taking courses in shamanic healing to become shamanic practitioners. Others are going on vision quests in South America, in Nepal or in Tibet. Please be aware that these people are not shaman. Going through training programs offered by various institutions doesn't make one a shaman; it makes them healers. Such programs train people in energy manipulations. In actuality this is similar to the manipulation carried on by a chiropractor.
The focus here is healing practices carried out by a shaman. Like other healers, the shaman makes a determination about the patient's conditions. He or she may do this by moving his/her hands over the individual's body. The shaman may then use sound to realign the patient's body energy. Drums, flute, rattles and the human voice are the sound producing instruments used by a shaman. Their vibrations aid in the realignment of the patient's energy. A wide variety of herbs may also be used in the form of teas, poultices, salves, ointments, or oils. Unlike many other healers, the shaman can and does travel to other realms to seek the help of the spirit world in healing his/her patient. Whatever the shaman does, it is energy based; either realigning the patient's energy, restoring energy through the use of herbs and herbals, or transferring energy from him or from the spirit world.
Two cautionary notes are appropriate at this point. Whenever you choose an alternative healing approach make sure you consult your medical physician. A second caution is that all of the alternate healing approaches are faith based. You must have faith or believe the healing approach works.
Dr. Wilson is the author of a dozen or more books, hundreds of articles. He is a Reiki Master and a metaphysical minister. Among his nonfiction books are Shamanism: What It's All About, Activating Your Archetypes, and Shamanic Manifesting.

Chicken pox is probably one of the most frustrating illnesses a child will get. It is dangerous when you get it as an adult. Chicken pox includes bumps which come up all over the body and they itch. Cold sores are painful, irritating and unsightly. They take so long to heal and yet tea tree oil can help them heal that bit quicker. Cholesterol-Lowering Supplements and Herbal Remedies: A Natural Alternative

What is Cholesterol?
Cholesterol is a fatlike material that is found in the brain, nerves, blood, bile, and liver. Although it has been a victim of negative press, it is an essential component in the production of the steroid hormones and in nerve function as well as other essential body processes. When it is present in the blood in the blood in excess and in one of its destructive oxidated forms, it is one of the many contributors to the development of hardening of the arteries (arteriosclerosis) also known as heart disease. Most medical doctors suggest that cholesterol levers must remain under 200mg/dl (5.2mmol/litre). Cholesterol levels lower than 200 are not without risk, however; as many as many people with levels below 200 have heart attacks. Cholesterol can be divided into two groups LDL cholesterol (directly linked to heart disease) and HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol). Someone with high HDL cholesterol may be low risk for heart disease even with a cholesterol level above 200.
Cholesterol and diet
Do eating foods that are high in cholesterol raise cholesterol? This is true for only about 30 percent of the population, however, for most people, eating high cholesterol foods does not raise cholesterol. The body manufactures about 75 percent of its own cholesterol from the breakdown of foods we eat. The rest we get from what we eat. If we eat more cholesterol, the body makes less or it is broken dawn by the liver and excreted. Significant amounts of animal-based saturated fat are found in beef, pork, veal, poultry, cheese, butter, ice cream, and other dairy products. It is recommended to eat non-fat yogurts, skimmed milk and non-fat cheese. Choose to use foods that are low in fat. Eating fish has been reported to increase HDL cholesterol and is linked to a reduced risk of heart disease in most studies. Fish contain very little saturated fat and fish oil contains EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (dacosahexaenoic acid) omega-3 oils that appear to protect against heart disease.
Eating vegetables is highly recommended; these are high in antioxidants, your body's natural artery roto-rooters that disarm harmful oxidized cholesterol and keep it from clogging the arteries. Partially hydrogenated vegetable oils are considered to be toxic to the heart. It is important to avoid rancid oil, such as unsaturated vegetable oils teeming with unstable molecules. Unsaturated fats are found in most vegetable oils; these fats are rancid, which is a major health risk. It is recommended to use monounsaturated fats like canola oil and olive oil. Butter is also recommended, as it is a healthy fat. Olive oil is flavoursome, packed with nutrients and delicious, however it is important to use in moderation.
Natural alternative to cholesterol-lowering medicines
Despite the links between saturated fat intake and serum cholesterol levels, not every person responds to appropriate dietary changes with a drop in cholesterol. It can be noted, however; that it is so easy to for nearly everyone to significantly lower LDL cholestrerol and raise HDL levels with diet, exercise and supplements that seems extreme for doctors to prescribe cholesterol lowering drugs until, other simpler measures have been taken and failed.
Niacin
Niacin is a form of Vitamin B3. It is one of the safest and most effective ways to lower LDH and raise HDL. It is at least as effective as cholesterol-lowering drugs and less expensive. The disadvantages of using Niacin are that if taken in high doses for high cholesterol levels it causes acute (flushing, headaches, stomach-ache) and chronic (liver damage, diabetes, gastritis, possible gout) toxicity may be severe. A physician should monitor high intake of Niacin. The key to taking niacin successfully to lower cholesterol is to start with a small amount, 50mg twice daily and gradually increase to 400mg three times a day over a period of two to three months.
Quercetin
Quercetin is a bioflavonoid that protects LDL cholesterol from damage. Foods that are high in quercetin assist in lowering the risk of heart disease. Quercetin is found in apples, onions, and black tea, and as a supplement.
Fish oil supplements
Fish oil is excellent not only for reducing overall cholesterol, but also for increasing your HDL. It is highly recommended to include fish as part of your diet. Taking fish oil supplement daily is believed to give you the same benefits as eating fish, however; research found that including fish as part of your diet have better results compared to fish oil supplements. Include fish as part of your diet at least twice a week.
Vitamins and minerals
If your cholesterol is over 300, you will want to add the following vitamins and minerals. Most of these nutrients have antioxidant properties that help lower your HDL cholesterol levels.
- Vitamin C
Like vitamin E, Vitamin C protects LDL cholesterol from damage. Nutritionally oriented doctors sometimes recommend 1g per day. If this is taken in high doses in causes diarrhoea.
- Magnesium
Magnesium is needed by the heart to function properly. Magnesium deficiency is associated with low HDL cholesterol level. Recommended dosage 300mg -450mg per day.
- Calcium
In previous studies calcium was identified as having cholesterol-lowering properties. This can be attributed to the possibility that calcium is binding with and preventing the absorption of dietary fat. Recommended dosage level is 800mg -1g per day.
- Copper 2-3mg daily
- Vitamin E
Like Vitamin C, in recent studies Vitamin E has shown to have properties that protect LDL cholesterol from damage. Dosage 400IU (total 800 IU daily)
- Chromium
Chromium supplementation has reduced LDL Cholesterol and increase HDL cholesterol in human studies. People with higher levels of chromium appear to be at lower risk of heart disease. Recommended dosage is 200mcg daily.
Herbs that help in lowering cholesterol
Garlic
People wishing to consume garlic and with no aversion to the odour can chew one whole clove of raw garlic daily. Odour-controlled, enteric-coated tablets standardised for allicin content are available. Doctors knowledgeable in the use of herbal medicine typically recommend 900mg per day.
Guggul
Ayurverdic medicine is an ancient form of healing from India that relies largely on deviding people into body and personality types and then prescribing a variety of treatments that include plant medicines. Guggul is one of the best-known Ayurvedic medicines, a plant traditionally used mainly to treat arthritis and obesity. Guggul, a mixture of substances taken from the plant Commiphora mukul is an approved treatment for elevated cholesterol in India.
Cayenne
This spice lowers cholesterol. Take a daily supplement of cayenne in capsules or use it liberally in your food.
Curry
Curry is another spice that lowers cholesterol.
Wild yam
Wild yam has been reported to raise HDL cholesterol. Recommended dosage is 2-3ml of tincture taken 3 to 4 times per day or 1-2 capsules or tablets of the dried root taken 3 times per day.
Psyllium
Extensive research revealed that psyllium reduces cholesterol levels. Generally 5 to 10g of psyllium are added to the diet per day to lower cholesterol.
Red yeast rice
An ancient Chinese condiment made from specially fermented rice. Red yeast rice has been used safely to strengthen circulation and help digestion in Chinese medicines for hundreds of years. The reaction between the rice and the yeast used for fermenting yields natural statin substance similar to the statin used in synthetic drugs.
There are steps you can take to control of your health in lowering your Cholesterol without the use of synthetic or prescription medicine. Not only is the use of prescription medication expensive, many of these drugs are full of unwanted side effects. It is recommended that you stick to a healthy diet and natural products only. Eat more fibre. Fibre has a direct and dramatic cholesterol-lowering effect. Make olive oil and fish oil your predominant dietary fats. Add garlic to your diet and have a glass of red wine with dinner or a cup of green tea. You are recommended to use bioflavonoid supplements such as grapeseed extract and other cholesterol-busting supplements, and cholesterol-busting foods. Last but not least engage in exercise at least on a daily basis. Exercise will directly raise HDL cholesterol. To good health and long life.
Too many of us have put our health in the hands of our physician. It is quite obvious that nutritional supplements and herbal medicines are gaining acceptance that they have are quickly becoming part of the mainstream. What has driven the growing acceptance is that the public is gaining access to reliable, sound information on the value of these natural medicines as well as increased scientific investigation. Ayurveda - A Way of Life - Create a Holistic, Balanced and Healthy Life

Introduction
It is believed that Ayurveda, an ancient technique of medicine originated and evolved in the Indian sub-continent. Charak an ancient renowned Ayurvedacharya (practitioner of Ayurvedic medicines) wrote ''Charak Samhita'' and Sushruta another practitioner of this ancient medicine wrote ''Sushruta Samhita''. They have assimilated the medicinal value of many herbs and till date these books are followed as bibles in Ayurvedic practices.
The base of Ayurvedic treatments
Every human body has three elements kapha (mucous), vaat (wind inside the body) and pitta (bile). If there is any imbalance in any of these three elements, various ailments occur and make the body sick. The herbs and massage therapies used in Ayurveda are aimed at correcting this imbalance and curing the ailment from its root.
Ways of diagnosis in Ayurveda
Nadi parikshan means checking the pulse. It is believed that good ayurvedacharyas can touch the pulse and gauge the imbalance and problems in various organs of the body. There are seven other ways of diagnosing illnesses in Ayurveda-Aakruti (appearance), Shabda (speech), Sparsha (touch),Druk (vision), Mootra (urine), Mala (stool) and Jihva (tongue).
Ayurvedacharyas do not treat the symptoms alone and they believe that the physical existence, mental existence, and personality complete a human being. Hence to lead a healthy life one needs to establish a harmony among them.
Once the ayurcvedacharya has diagnosed the issue s/he starts the upakarma (treatment). This includes langhana (depletion), sodhana (purification), samana (pacifying) and brimhana (nourishing).
Eight Components of Ayurvedic Treatment
Ayurveda looks at the prevention and cure of any ailment and treats a patient holistically. It even looks at the environment where the patient stays and the impact of it on his/her well-being. There are eight components in ayurvedic treatment known as chikitsayam ashtaangayam and these can be categorized as follows:

  • Kayachikitsa - Treatment of the body and using different medicinal herbs to treat the body- general medicine like triphala, Haridra, brahmi etc are used during this phase of treatment. It also includes the panchakarma ayurvedic massages which are known to relieve chronic aches and pains.

  • Kaumara bhrtya - Paediatrics or the treatment of children. Child psychotherapy too is a part of this where the children and adolescents who are experiencing behavioral, psychological and emotional difficulties are treated and they are put in the normal trajectory of physical and mental growth.

  • Salya-tantra or Shalya Chikitsa - Surgery. Treatment where the body is perforated, cut and the affected organs, foreign particles are removed.

  • Salakya-tantra- Surgery of ears, eyes, nose and mouth (ENT).

  • Bhutavidya- If it is believed that the body is possessed by spirits, then removal of those spirits and nullifying the ill-effects caused by them comes under this form of treatment.

  • Agadatantra- Toxicology using vamana (emesis), virechana (purgation), vasti (enema), nasya (nasal emission), raktamoksha (blood purification).

  • Rasayantantra- Administering tonics for rejuvenation and increasing lifespan, reversing the effects of age, increasing intellect, stamina and strength.

  • Vajikarantantra- Helping to increase the libido in men and women and improving sexual prowess. Aphrodisiacs are used in this treatment to improve the quality of sperms in men and ovum in women. Salep Orchid / Salabmisri (Orchis mascula) is a very effective medicinal herb for men and Asparagus /(Asparagus Racemosus) for women.

If you are looking for quality Ayurvedic treatments in UAE, then you may consider going to Breath and Health. They administer all types of Ayurvedic treatments and also are experts in yoga therapy which is used to unite the mind, body and soul in Ayurveda.

What Is Nasal Fracture Surgery?

It's no surprise that the nose is the most common broken bone on the face. It's just jutting out there waiting to be broken, and typically, blunt force trauma is the culprit, i.e. a fist fight or automobile accident. Unfortunately, though, this common occurrence is very unpleasant and painful, and in some cases, may require cosmetic surgery to repair.
Depending on the severity of the fracture, the nose should be repaired as soon as possible. In fact, if restoration occurs too late after the break, the nose can begin to "set" itself and long-term cosmetic issues, like crookedness, and functionality problems, like trouble breathing, can persist. Typically, for severe nose fractures, doctors recommend that the nose be reset as soon as possible.
So what happens if the nose isn't reset soon enough following a fracture? Well, typically, nasal surgery is the only option.
Nasal fracture surgery - or a revision rhinoplasty - repairs damage caused following a broken nose. And the surgery is typically reversed for repairing cosmetic and functionality issues that occur long after the initial fracture. As the nose is so prone to breaks, this is one of the most common types of facial plastic surgery.
When Should You Consider Nasal Fracture Surgery?
In general, the fractured nose can be repaired surgically or non-surgically, and the type of procedure depends on the severity of the fracture and the time that has passed since the injury.
Typically, less severe fractures can be repaired non-surgically. Following the initial fracture, a doctor can "set" the nose by moving the broken nasal bones back into place. Once re positioned, the bones and cartilage can bond, which is similar to the natural process the body takes to repair a broken bone in the arm or leg. Yet, this must be completed fairly quickly following the injury, typically within 3 hours to a week. If the nose isn't set soon enough, it can begin to repair itself in an abnormal position.
Nasal fracture surgery is generally reserved to repair extensive nasal fractures and to reverse lingering cosmetic and functional issues caused by a previous nasal fracture.
Benefits of Nasal Fracture Surgery
For people who have suffered a broken nose, the benefits of a revision rhinoplasty are clear. These surgeries can help:
Restore the nose's original size, shape and angle
Repair and improve breathing
Reduce snoring
And prevent problems caused a fracture
A broken nose is unpleasant and painful, but without quick repair, the unpleasantness can last a lifetime. People who have suffered a broken nose and experienced difficulty breathing, excessive snoring or a change in appearance should contact a certified facial plastic surgeon to weigh the options.
Choosing a qualified plastic surgeon who has substantial experience in revision rhinoplasty is critical for the best results.

Is Aspirin Easy to Use?

Expert Author Nguyen Kinh Luan
Aspirin to some, acetylsalicylic acid to others, this synthetic compound helps relieve pain and reduce inflammation. So it comes to no surprise that many doctors recommend it when dealing with fevers or pain recovery. A few even believe it can help prevent heart attacks.
But is this pill really some sort wonder pill? Aspirin is already a source to use to help reduce fevers, relieve pain especially in muscular joints, and stop headaches. Now a study earlier this year suggests aspirin can combine with enzyme GAPDH which causes human cells to die on purpose.
By limiting GAPDH, aspirin could limit cell death and thus stop diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Another recent study shows that daily usage of a low doses (81-100 milligrams or less) of aspirin for at least a decade can reduce the threat of cancer up to 35-50 percent. These studies are coming out now because scientists only recently began to figure out why aspirin works even though it has been regularly used for more than a century. Its medicinal uses were actually first theorized way back around 400 B.C. by a physician named Hippocrates. He claimed that if a bark of a willow tree was ground into powder, it could treat pains and fevers. Because of his work and discovers, Hippocrates is now regarded as the father of modern medicine.
Yet it wasn't until 1829 when the salicin was a compound found in the bark as the real reason for the successful treatment. Salicin helps in headaches, but is hard on the stomach and cause bleeding in the digestive tract. Decades later, the compound was mixed in with sodium and acetyl chloride, thus creating acetylsalicylic acid. By 1899, the German pharmaceutical company Bayer had trademarked the name Aspirin and was selling the pill for medicinal purposes. Oddly, it wasn't until the 1970s when scientists began to figure out how aspirin worked.
Aspirin reduces pain by limiting prostoglandins, a hormone-like compound formed by the body's enzymes. When in pain, prostoglandins are created to provide neural response to the brain. With aspirin bonding with them, it limits the process and limits the pain. The compound also is bond with platelets which initiates blood clotting. The bonding again limits the process, helping to prevent blood clots. Aspirin also affects the hypothalamus which regulates body temperature, thus causing fevers to go down. However, prostoglandins also do some good as it is the compound which keeps stomach lining thick.
Taking aspirin too often can cause stomach bleeding as the lining are no longer keeping the stomach acids contained to just digesting one's food intake. Also, the benefits of aspirin can sometimes be overstated. While it can reduce a second heart attack, it won't stop heart attacks or strokes from occurring in people with no previous hereditary issue. Even the safety coating of aspirin to protect against stomach bleeding could only result in the small intestine to suffer from bleeding. Still, many doctors recommend many people to take it every day, but should they?
Those who do take it regularly should be on the lookout for potential negative side effects. Also, aspirin isn't for everyone. People who have stomach ulcers and bleeding disorders shouldn't be taking aspirin. Some people are allergic to aspirin or ibuprofen. Children under ages of 16 shouldn't take it unless under specific medical supervision. Speaking of medical supervision, there are other groups who should be wary of taking aspirin and should consult a physician before doing so.
Those include people who suffer from asthma, who have liver and kidney problems, or women late in their pregnancies. So while aspirin can be safe for some, it could produce more harmful effects for others. In other words, be sure to consult with a doctor about one's medical condition before using it daily.

Reality About Health Benefits of Coconut Oil

We are blessed with countless treasures by nature. Especially for human beings, there are different species of animals and plants which have proven their worth by presenting us the solutions of our health issues. The fruits and vegetables coming from plant genre and the meat from animal groups have solved a lot of our problems over the decades.
We can use the whole fruits and vegetables or extract their oils as there is mustard oil, olive oil and coconut oil. Well! Coconut is neither regarded as a fruit nor a nut, it is in fact from another group of food which is called drupe like apricot.
Talking about the health benefits of various oils extracted from different food groups, olive oil is undoubtedly regarded as the most beneficial. However, it is observed that there are some positive feedback about the oil extracted from coconut too. The traditional ways of extracting oil from coconut is by processing, drying and crushing of the hard white pulp of the drupe. In contrast to the traditional perception, now people tend to regard the oil as one of the healthy extracts.
Back in the decade of the 1980s, oil was believed to cause serious health illnesses as it causes high production of Cholesterol and hence the masses avoided to use it in their diets. But the things changed later on when in 2002 the New Statesman reported that the people who use coconut oil stay safe from the regenerative illnesses, show a healthy BMI and live long. It was also claimed that coconut oil can also be useful to treat Alzheimer but there is no scientific evidence to prove it as yet.
However, the presence, ratio and effects of saturated fats in coconut oil tells a whole different story. Yes! The oil contains 92 percent saturated fats in contrast to butter (64 percent) and beef (40 percent). The high levels of saturated fats are a cause of inflammation of blood vessels. It is also rich in Medium-chain Triglycerides (MCT's), also processed by the liver. The most important MCT present in the oil is the Lauric Acid which is associated with the production of HDL cholesterol which is good for health and reduction of body fat. On the other hand, this oil is a cause of increased production of a harmful type of cholesterol which is called LDL.
According to the experts at Harvard University, the facts about HDL and LDL are not decisive ones about the oil extracted from coconut being good or bad for health. Similarly, one of the renowned Molecular Biologist from the University of California expressed his opinion in 2011 and said that there is no solid scientific evidence about the healthy impact of the oil.
Considering all the available and known facts, it would be impossible to give a verdict for or against the usefulness of the oil. However, if used within limits, there are no known disadvantages. So, it is highly recommended to consume the oil only in baking and beverages where only a small quantity is required for developing peculiar taste.
Right now, I would like to invite you to access and read new information about the Coconut Oil for Health and as well as about More Health Articles.

2015 Hamilton Road2Hope

One of our final big goals for the 2015 season was the Hamilton Road2Hope marathon and half marathon.  While the temperature was perfect, winds were very challenging, especially at the top of the escarpment.  The team powered through and still produced a collection of solid performances.

Full Marathon:
Our rankings

The winds were brutal for these guys, forcing some of our runners to fall of their pace and drop out.  There were 5 H+Pers who fought hard and finished with great results:

Just two weeks removed from his PB at STWM, RunnerRob ran very strong 2:38:18, good for 2nd OA and his second fastest marathon to date.

Luke, on little pure marathon training relied on his massive IM base to carry him to a very successful 3:06:38.

In her fist marathon ever, Emily Hunter ran an outstanding 3:21:04.

Howie and Manny treated this as a fun run, coming in with finishing times of 4:21 and 4:52 respectively

Half Marathon
Our Rankings

With a recent course change, this route was measured by officials to be 21.34 in the week following
the race.  While it's something that rarely happens at a race of this size, we sill had a great time and some solid results:

Coach Sean finished 7th OA with a time of 1:17:21.

Nick Burt, despite the extra distance ran an outstanding half marathon PB of 1:22:13.

Kailey Haddock had a strong run, and like Nick was able to finish with a strong 1:30:47 PB.

Holger ran his usual consistent pace, coming in with a 1:30:50 final time.

Gillian came in just behind Holger, running 1:31:23.

Dave was the 1:40 pace bunny for the race, and ran the perfect pace to finish the job, coming in just over 1:41 (which would have been 1:40 at 21.1).

Dragan was in next just behind Dave with his second best half ever: 1:44.

Team Rankings

Schuyler Schmidt had an outstanding last-minute race, finishing in 42:35 and second OA!

Danny Nakluski continues to improve, running a very strong 46:06 for a new PB.

Kirstin Marks posted yet another PB, coming in just behind Dan with a time of 46:38!
